Our studio is just a short walk to Boca Ciega Bay (a small bay off the Gulf of Mexico). The waterfront has a swimming beach, volleyball courts and many places to sit and enjoy the water and the passing scene. There are many good, affordable restaurants nearby. Several lovely parks are also within walking distance of our studio, including Wood Ibis Park which has a pond alive with bird life and an occasional small alligator. A short pleasant walk to the east of us takes you to the Gulfport Marina and Clam Bayou Nature Preserve which has several trails and boardwalks over the mangroves of the bayou as well as some kayak rentals.
