These small wishes are called "Beatitudes". They are rolled up bits of fabric secured with wire, floss thread or fabric strips. Inside each is a small piece of paper with a name of someone or something for which I am thankful. In one case there is a piece of fur from a favorite dog. Someday I'll change the focus to things I wish I'd become.
