The students from the Oiseaux Sisters Workshops in 2003 decided to create various Mail Art Projects as a mechanism to stay in touch, keep working together and urge each other on. Each session devised their own rules. See below.

| Group One from the Altered Books Workshop decided to make something to send, any size, shape or media. Sometime between September 1st and 10th send it to the person below you on the list. Each month after that, each artist sends a piece but to the next person on the list. | Group Two from the Little Altars workshop differs from the others in that only one person sends a piece each month. The first person begins the process by sending a piece of any kind that will fit into an 8.5 x 11 envelope between the 1st and 10th 0f September to the second person on the list. The next month the second person on the list will make a piece and along with the first piece send it (between the 1st and 10th) to the third person on the list. And so on. Any media and format is fine. | Group Three from the Little Altars Everywhere Workshop chose to find a book to alter and alter as many pages as you wish, any size, shape or media. Sometime the week of the full moon, send your book to the person below you on the list. Alter as many pages as you wish of the book you receive. Each month, the week of the full moon, send to the person another rung down the list. We will follow each book by the name of the person who started it. |
